LitterLine Privacy Policy
For the LitterLine breeder app, the LitterLine Pet app, and LitterLine kennel websites. Effective October 26, 2026.
LitterLine is made by Senior Enterprises LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how you can delete it. Questions: support@litterline.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), and your name if you give it.
- Your records: what you enter. For breeders: dogs, litters, puppies, owners and buyers, health tests, care records, photos, documents, messages, and money records. For pet owners: your dogs, vet visits, vaccines, reminders, photos, documents, contacts and messages.
- Device information needed to run the app: a push-notification token (so we can send notices you've turned on) and the app version. We don't collect advertising IDs.
- Website visitors: if you send a puppy inquiry or join a kennel's email list, the details you type (name, email, phone, address, and any photo you attach) go to that kennel.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't use your records to train AI models.
Who can see your information
- Your records are private to your account. Our database enforces this: another user's account cannot read them.
- Breeder and owner sharing is only what you choose. When a breeder uses "Send to owner" and the owner accepts, that one dog's record is shared between them. Photos an owner chooses to share appear in the breeder's records. A breeder decides which photos, if any, appear on their public website. Owners never see a breeder's private records, such as other owners, money records or notes.
- Kennel websites show only what the breeder publishes, such as dog names and photos. Contact details, microchips, owners and money records are never shown publicly.
- Service providers that run the service for us, under contracts that limit their use of your data: Supabase (database, file storage, sign-in), Cloudflare (website hosting and email forwarding), Apple and Google (app distribution and push notifications). If email notifications are turned on later, an email delivery provider sends them.
- Legal: we may disclose information if the law requires it.
Where it's stored and how it's protected
Data is stored with Supabase in the United States, encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Photos and documents are kept in private storage. When a kennel website shows them, it uses links that expire after an hour.
Keeping and deleting your information
- Delete Account: in either app, open Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and your records, photos and documents within 30 days, including backups. Photos you shared with a breeder are removed from the breeder's records too. A breeder's own records of a puppy they sold, such as the sale and the puppy's registration, stay with the breeder.
- You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing support@litterline.com from your account's email address.
- Messages and records you delete in the app are removed from other devices when they sync.
Your choices
- Turn notifications on or off in the app's Settings or your phone's Settings.
- Export your records (spreadsheet or PDF) from the app at any time.
- California, Connecticut and other state residents have the right to know, correct and delete their personal information. Use the steps above or email us. We respond within 45 days.
Children
LitterLine is for adults (18 and over). We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app before major changes take effect.
